Scope: An engineering role focusing on vision and other automated inspection for in-line sterile products in syringes, vials, or sealed tubes. Provides support to investigations and changes of primary components, and product changes solution/suspensions/lyophilized cakes.

Job Description:

  • Provides direct technical support to vaccine Operations for vision inspection process improvement and validation activities
  • Responsible for characterizing the process parameter ranges for products on the inspection equipment. 
  • Responsible for establishing statistical process control limits for inspection process reject rates
  • Provides process, equipment, and operational knowledge in design of new inspection equipment and new inspection technology. 
  • Supports inspection equipment design, selection, FAT, IQ/OQ, and PQ.



  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Science and 2 years of experience or
  • Masters Degree in Engineer or Science

  • Strong technical writing and communication skills, strong project management skills


  • Vision inspection systems experience, validation or automation focus, tendency to work hands on
  • Experience in vaccine or sterile product manufacturing
