Leading the Integrated Planning and Execution SAP team for Merck Animal Health, the candidate will work directly with the senior leaders of Animal Health, Global Financial Planning and Analysis Process Owner and Business Service Center leadership to create and implement a strategy to develop and continuously improve an end to end integrated planning process and enhance the technology solution in order to achieve the maximum value from our platforms. The Director - Integrated Planning and Execution is responsible for the successful delivery of process transformation, change management, and will lead the definition and deployment of all cross-functional integration across our global Enterprise Process Platforms. They role will be the central point of contact for Business Development activity requiring ERP integration. Knowledge of integrated business processes and the ability to translate them into sustainable solutions is critical.

This role uses strategic thinking, consulting skills, leadership, and business knowledge to shape the business strategy and translate that into IT capabilities. The individual will be responsible for the overall success of the integrated solution.

The candidate will possess advanced skills and abilities, in client interaction, relationship building, and communication. In addition, the candidate will have the ability to lead a diverse global team of full time and contract employees and the skills to continue to develop and maintain a high performing team.



  •  Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience.

  • A minimum of five years experience with a demonstrated track record of success deploying SAP, with a focus on innovation and user experience in processes and systems.
  • Extensive knowledge across multiple enterprise business processes, including Business Planning, Accounting to Report, Order to Cash, Supply Chain, etc.
  • Effective at leading and working with cross-functional and multi-cultural project teams with an emphasis on collective achievements.
  • Active business partner with strong relationship management and change enablement skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mind set.
  • Strong delivery and problem solving skills.
  • Financial acumen.
  • End to end business and technology process knowledge.
  • Knowledge of new/emerging technology.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Writes and speaks English fluently.
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values, impeccable integrity.
