In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a large, varied Contraception portfolio, including NuvaRing, Zoely, Cerazette, Marvelon and Mercilon.

To optimize this portfolio, the candidate will focus on the following areas;

·          Late Life-Cycle Management – Lead a robust global strategy and country planning to optimize post-LOE Sales, including successful launches of Second Brands and Authorized Generics.

·         Product Development Team Representation

·         Operational and planning excellence – supply chain management, interacting with country operations, forecasting involvement, optimizing SKU assortment (approving additions and removals)

·         Financial optimization – conduct global and country-level profitability analysis, then drive/coordinate efforts to optimize profitability, up to and including potential deletion recommendations at global or individual country level

·         Partnership and/or business development initiatives – identify, evaluate, and implement deals for select brands and geographies.  Initiatives could include CTC partnerships, externalization of brand support, or divestiture assessments

·         Efficient but effective global marketing support for in-country brand marketers – provide appropriate and tailored support from HQ to a large, heterogeneous group of country teams (or external partners) still actively promoting these brands.  Concentrate on

o    Ensuring broad, simple, and swift access to strategic guidance documents (brand books, forecast guidance, strategy tools). Update these guidance documents when needed and publicizing changes

o   Ensuring broad, simple, and swift access to both older and new approved promotional content (originating from local teams or previously developed by global)

Sharing key learnings and best practices from local country projects out to other markets.  This will be accomplished through a blend of durable asset development (documentation of learnings and making the documentation accessible) and virtual country engagement (e.g., webex).  Some live interactions (regional meetings or individual country visits) will be required.






Education Minimum Requirement:  •        Bachelor Degree required. Advanced degree preferred.


Required Experience and Skills –

·         Minimum of 4+ years pharmaceutical marketing

·         Strong analytical capabilities

·         Track record of superior abilities to organize and plan work, collaborate with teams and stakeholders to pull through execution.
