Faculty position in Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine

The Department of Pharmacology at University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago is seeking candidates for an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor appointment in Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine. Candidates should have an outstanding record in areas such as: (1) stem cell biology; (2) differentiation signaling mechanisms; (3) genome editing tools in regenerative biology; (4) reprogramming; (5) lineage tracing analysis, or (6) regenerative medicine.  NIH funding is required for Associate/Full Professor level candidates and recommended for Assistant Professor candidates. The department has strong research and training programs (http://mcph.uic.edu/home) and consistently ranks among the top 10.  Successful candidate is expected to develop a competitive interdisciplinary research program.  A highly competitive startup package will be offered. All candidates are required to have a PhD, MD or equivalent doctoral degree, as well as an outstanding publication record of the above mentioned departmental program areas.
