The Department of Cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) is recruiting a principal investigator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Pediatrics (HMS).The successful candidate’s research should align with the Department's focus on understanding basic disease mechanisms in congenital heart disease and translating fundamental discoveries to the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric cardiovascular disease.Topics may be in, but not limited to, cardiovascular genetics, cardiac or muscle gene or cell therapy, cardiovascular development, computational biology, stem cell biology, and/or regenerative biology. As a major national and international center for the treatment of patients with congenital heart disease, this recruitment seeks to capitalize on the Department’s leading clinical program and the strengths of its existing research faculty. The successful candidate is expected to direct innovative and independent re-search and to participate in the teaching and other activities of the Department.
