Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmacology
The Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy at High Point University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Pharmacology at the Assistant/Associate Professor level for the Department of Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences. The School of Pharmacy utilizes a unique integrated curriculum that intercalates basic science and clinical applications in all courses using a team-teaching approach. The School seeks to recruit highly qualified and motivated individuals with a strong commitment to education and research. The Departmental research programs span various aspects of drug design and synthesis, in silico and PK/PD modeling, molecular and systems pharmacology, drug delivery and analysis. We are particularly interested in candidates with the following backgrounds: cell or tissue culture, receptor-ligand interactions, target characterization, biochemical and cellular SAR analysis, chromatography and mass spectrometry, and bioinformatics. The Department seeks to continue to grow and develop in the areas of neuropharmacology, inflammatory and infectious diseases.
