Postdoc Positions in Neurodegeneration and Neuroinflammation
Two postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Hui Zheng in Huffington Center on Aging and Department of Human and Molecular Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine. Successful applicants will join a highly dynamic laboratory with an outstanding track-record and rich resources in Alzheimer’s disease research and will work on projects funded by multiple NIH grants. The focus of the immediate projects are to elucidate the mechanisms and functional role of glial cells and neuron-immune interaction in Alzheimer’s disease utilizing novel genetic mouse models and multidisciplinary approaches.
Motivated individuals with expertise in CNS cell biology, protein misfolding biochemistry, gene expression profiling, brain disease modeling and/or Immunology are preferred. Previous experience with flow cytometry, stereology, microscopy or molecular biology is a plus.
