Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:

The Department/Division of Population Sciences Outcomes Research within the Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope invites applications from qualified individuals for a Professor Series faculty position in the area of cancer outcomes and survivorship. Recruitment can be at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor level. The primary goal of the Division of Outcomes Research at City of Hope is to characterize and the after-effects (physical, emotional, and social) of cancer and its treatment. To that end, applicants with proven accomplishments in studies applicable to Hematology/Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation-related outcomes are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants must be qualified for Cancer Center membership while effectively developing an extramurally funded translational research program. Interaction among other members of the department/division of Population Sciences Outcomes Research is facilitated by an open floor-plan with dedicated laboratory space for the successful candidate. Candidates at the associate/professor level will have established an internationally recognized research program with a strong track record in extramural peer reviewed funding and high impact publications. A competitive start-up package including faculty salary and research support will be provided commensurate with experience. Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:

A Ph.D. or MD/DO degree is required for this position as well as a fluency in spoken and written English.
