Postdoctoral Fellow in Neurobiology
Focus is on cellular role of postsynaptic density scaffolding proteins (MAGUK) in neurotoxicity during neuro-development causing long-term cognitive dysfunction. Critical skills include productive background in cell and molecular neurobiology of the postsynaptic density, experience with MAGUK scaffolding protein functions, protein-protein interaction, neural spine formation. Hippocampal slice and in vivo electrophysiology, confocal and fret imaging experience desired.
Dynamic, innovative laboratory of diverse interacting scientists. Focus spans cell and molecular biology, physiology, biomarker development, human cell and patient mechanistic investigation and development of therapeutics. Send application letter, CV, and contact information for three references.
