Louise Glass (Department of Plant and Microbial Biology), Professor Adam Arkin (Department of Bioengineering) and Dr. Jeffrey Skerker (QB3 Institute) on a collaborative project with BASF researchers focused on developing high throughput methods for screening of fungi for mode-of-action studies, including genome-wide fitness profiling and co-fitness analysis. This Postdoctoral position involves using established fungal models for fitness screening as well as extending methodology to other species.
The Postdoctoral Scholar will perform genome-wide fitness assays using a barcoded library of Rhodosporidium toruloides mutants and also work on the development of a genome-wide overexpression library in Neurospora crassa. In addition, he/she will work in collaboration with other team members (UCB and BASF), analyze data, and write papers.
