Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology
The Biology Department at Kenyon College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Microbiology beginning in August 2018.
The successful candidate will teach upper level lecture and lab courses in microbiology, and will participate in the introductory biology laboratory sequence. Applicants should demonstrate the potential for teaching excellence and a commitment to undergraduate education. A completed PhD is preferred, but excellent ABD applicants will be considered.
Review of applications will begin 3/12/18 and will continue until the position is filled. A complete application will be composed of 1) a cover letter discussing the applicant's research and prior teaching experience; 2) a statement of teaching philosophy; 3) a CV; and 4) three letters of recommendation.
