Research Assistant Professor
The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of imaging computing and analytics. Responsibilities include developing an active and externally-funded program on radiomics and radiogenomics of cancer, by utilizing imaging analytics and machine learning methodology. The successful candidate should also possess the appropriate skills for leading a multi-faculty effort on development of cancer imaging analytics software. Evidence of ability to obtain funding, to form external collaborations, and to provide supervision of junior researchers, students and staff is important. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.
The position will be with the Center for Biomedical Image Computing and Analytics, which is a dynamically growing medical image computing center, involving several laboratories and many collaborators from diverse fields. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Medical Image Analysis, Bioengineering, Computer Science, or related field.
