Internationally recognized for our expertise in Neuropsychiatry, we continue to pursue efforts in developing innovative treatments in this therapeutic area and are looking for an:

Early Clinical Development Director

Based in our Head Office in Suresnes, Paris Area

This is a truly essential new role to advise and coordinate, with an industrial vision, our clinical activities through the assessment and integration of promising new targets into our pipeline, right up to Phase 2.

 

Reporting directly to the Head of Neuropsychiatry R&D, you will be responsible for the positioning of new targets into our clinical development portfolio. These will originate either from the efforts of our internal research department, focused in the field of proteinopathy, or from in-licensing opportunities in early clinical development in neurology.

With a translational mindset, you will provide key scientific insight into our own in-house projects and potential licensing-in opportunities, including the engagement of high profile external opinion leaders from the clinical and research community. You will be a leader in scientific exchange and collaboration with therapeutic area experts and both internal and external research initiatives. You will support the design, development and management of company and investigator sponsored clinical trials and present scientific and clinical data to opinion leaders, practitioners, investigators, research coordinators, internal and external stakeholders.

“Collective Intelligence” is a critical pillar of our future progress and, as the Early Clinical Development Director, you will help to shape our success by facilitating and leading the coordination between our highly-engaged Project Directors, our Translational and Clinical teams and external experts, partners and collaborators.

 

Profile:

  • Neurologist with a PhD in Neuroscience and/or experience of early Clinical Development, Clinical Pharmacology and Proof of Concept studies, with knowledge and conviction of the need for meaningful Translational Biomarkers.
  • 10 yr+ in Clinical Research and/or Development
  • Experience in a Pharmaceutical Company and/or Clinical Research Center setting
  • Established reputation in the field of Neurodegenerative Disorders. Experience in MS or Stroke would be a plus.

  • Important motivation and commitment
  • Initiative and proactivity
  • Team spirit
  • Able to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team setting and with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English ; French would be a plus
