Nanoparticle Self-Assembly and Characterization
A Research Opportunity is available immediately in the self-assembled nanoplasmonics group at the Center for Bio/Molecular Science and Engineering at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington DC. Highly interdisciplinary research will focus on understanding the optical, chemical, and electronic properties at the nanoscale organic-inorganic interface. Applicants should have demonstrated expertise in nanoparticle synthesis, self-assembly, or characterization. Candidates should send a cover letter, CV, and at least one letter of recommendation to Dr. Jake Fontana (firstname.lastname@example.org). Additional postdoctoral program information can be found at http://hroffice.nrl.navy.mil/jobs/postdoc.htm. U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is required.
