St. Jude is seeking faculty candidates in the area of cryo-electron microscopy and tomography. St Jude is establishing a world-class cryo-EM center that in its first phase will include a 300kV Titan Krios and a 200kV Talos Arctica microscope (delivered spring ’18). Funding for additional equipment purchase in the near future is also available. The center will be supported by three PhD-level staff scientists. This is a unique opportunity to drive the development of cryo-EM technology while collaborating with other basic science/cell biology researchers across the institution.

Minimum Education

•          Successful candidates must hold a PhD degree.

Minimum Experience

•          At least 3 years of relevant postgraduate experience.

•          Demonstrated excellence in the field of cryo-Electron Microscopy is required.

•          Successful applicants are expected to develop and lead an independent research program that addresses important problems in biomolecular systems of wide scientific and medical interest.
