Postdoctoral Research Associate

This position is in the laboratory of Dr. Hua Mei in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Our general research interest is to reveal the mechanisms of the eye, especially corneal diseases using animal and other research models.

We will focus of the translational potential and clinical impact of research. The current project focuses on investigating the markers of limbal stem cells using H2B-GFP mice.

Ph.D. in molecular genetics, cellular biology or biochemistry is required.

The candidate must have a PhD and have experience in mouse handling and surgery, cell culture, and molecular biology. Must be motivated, reliable, and work independently.
