The Del Monte Institute for Neuroscience, Department of Neuroscience and Center for Visual Science at the University of Rochester invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor rank. As part of a university-wide expansion in both Neuroscience and augmented/virtual reality, we seek outstanding applicants who work in immersive sensory and/or multisensory environments to address fundamental issues in sensory, cognitive and/or motor function. Candidates working in both human and animal model systems are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a vibrant, diverse community with interests spanning cellular, systems, and cognitive Neuroscience, and will contribute to teaching and mentoring at the graduate level. There is a possibility of additional appointments in Departments of Brain and Cognitive Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Optics.
