The Section of Neurobiology in the Department of Biological Sciences of the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, is seeking an outstanding neuroscientist at the associate or full professor level to hold the William M. Keck Chair in Psychology and Biological Sciences. 
 
We seek applicants who are using cutting-edge molecular-genetic, optical, or electrophysiological approaches to address fundamental questions in neuroscience. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, development and plasticity in the nervous system, signaling and coding in sensory and motor systems, and the molecular, cellular, systems, and circuit basis for complex behaviors and neurological diseases. Applicants are expected to have an outstanding record of research accomplishments, a strong history of securing and sustaining extramural funding, and a commitment to excellence in graduate and undergraduate education. Applicants should have a doctoral degree in a relevant field of study. 
 
The Neurobiology Section (http://dornsife.usc.edu/bisc/neurobiology) is part of a growing community of basic science faculty within Dornsife and is an integral part of a rich and diverse neuroscience community at USC. The Section is housed in the Hedco Neuroscience Building on the University Park Campus of USC, in close proximity to the Departments of Chemistry, Engineering, Molecular and Computational Biology, and Psychology.
