The University of Illinois at Chicago Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has two postdoctoral positions to investigate the utilization of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) for cell therapy of female infertility-related disorders such as premature ovarian insufficiency and polycystic ovary syndrome.
The successful applicants will use molecular techniques, tissue culture, and experimental animal models to characterize how secreted humeral factors from MSCs enhanced ovarian functions and improve oocyte quality. The opportunity also exists to explore other areas of interest related to this project.
MD and/or PhD in regenerative medicine, stem cell biology, molecular biology, reproductive biology, physiology or related fields is required. Salary competitive.
