Postdoctoral fellows in Immunology (Cantorna and Xiong labs) are available within the Center for Molecular Immunology and Infectious Diseases at The Pennsylvania State University main campus (University Park, PA). The fellows will join a dynamic group of investigators interested in molecular immunology. The research focuses on development and function of tissue-resident lymphocytes in barrier tissues and/or mucosal immunology. The postdoc(s) will either study molecular mechanisms regulating establishment of resident innate lymphoid cells and T cells in the skin (Xiong lab) or mucosal immunology and the microbiome (Cantorna lab). Prior experience in analysis of immune cells and animal models of disease is desired. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, a strong publication record with background in immunology, cellular and molecular biology, and related areas.
