Adaptation and Resilience of Alpin Regions to Climate Change - REF. 294/2017
Against climate change impacts, more and more noticeable in our mountains, public policies are still not enough provided with tools to face the most significant challenges. To respond to this deficiency and to enhance the capability of transboundary territories, the programme will test and activate adaptation tools, strategies and actions, fitting them at the core of regional planning. The main target sectors of the programme are spatial planning, natural risks, agriculture, tourism, energetic transition, through an action-research process, grounded on the co-construction among partners and
aimed at the enhancement of their competencies. The programme is also aimed at the valorisation of
best practices and at sharing the acquired results with the broadest set of concerned parties.Through this climate change adaptation process, validated and shared, the programme will contribute to enhance resilience of transboundary regions.
