The research project consists of two parts. The first part consists of compiling a database of information about the insect group, flickship's family, ecology and life history using the zoological literature and zoological collections. The second part consists of determining by means of multivariate phylogenetic, comparative methods and previously collected data how such body size associations co-exist in a multivariate adaptive landscape.
For the work it is necessary to analyze the phylogenetic data and to study with different methods how different species evolved.
