The Irish Cancer Society BREAST-PREDICT Collaborative Cancer Research Centre aims to develop a clinical, pathophysiological and pharmacoepidemiological data-driven approach that will facilitate evidence-based, precision breast cancer medicine. Founded upon the rationalisation of national bioresources and associated data, the BREAST-PREDICT Centre utilises unbiased biostatistical, ‘omics' and systems medicine-based approaches to (a) model the effects of pharmacoepidemiological factors on breast cancer outcome; (b) examine adaptive responses of breast tumours to targeted therapy; (c) identify rational combinatorial therapeutic regimes and provide mechanistic anchoring of key breast cancer- driving pathways; and (d) facilitate the validation of signature-based diagnostics to predict outcome and response to therapy.

Salary: €52,716 per annum.
