PhD Research Fellow in Human Geography (ref no 2017/11651)
The position is linked to the research project “Smart Mobility Suburbs (SMS)”, funded by the Norwegian Research Council. The PhD fellow will be part of a consortium of researchers at the Norwegian Institute for Urban and Regional Research, the Institute for Transport Economics and the Department of Sociology and Human Geography (project leader is at this department). Within this research project, the position will mainly be related to the work package 1. The main objective is to develop a better understanding of residential choices and travel practices, based on fieldwork and qualitative interviews with persons living in suburban “minicities” (or suburban towns) in Greater Oslo.
