We invite applications for one research fellowship, PhD or Postdoctoral, at the Excited Centre for Excellence in IT Education http://www.ntnu.edu/excited funded by NOKUT for the period 2016-2021. The centre is a collaboration between NTNU (host institution) and Nord University.

Currently IDI has 26 full professors, 6 adjunct professors, 37 associate professors, 15 adjunct associate professors, 19 assistant professors, 42 postdoctoral/researchers, approx. 100 active PhD students, and 22 technical/administrative staff.
Information about a PhD fellowship
Appointment as PhD fellow is for 3 years, or 4 years with teaching duties of 25%. Applicants must have a Master's degree, or be in their last year of Master Studies. In the latter case, employment will be postponed until the Master degree is finished. The degree should be in Computer Science, IT Education or similar. Masters of Pedagogics or Didactics (e.g. Math Didactics, Engineering Education) will also be considered, if having enough IT competence to pursue research in IT didactics. The successful applicant will be required to enroll in the PhD program in Information Technology at the NTNU, and must therefore satisfy the admission requirements, see www.ntnu.edu/studies/phit for more details. In brief, the academic degree must be equivalent to at least 5 years of study, and the ECTS grade average must be A or B.
