This research aims to exploit the potential for valuable syngas (hydrogen and carbon monoxide) production starting from acid gases (hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide), using the so called, AG2S Technology. The first step is to develop a detailed kinetic scheme basing on experimental data provided by a laboratory reactor, located et Politecnico di Milano. This kinetic has to be able to predict the formation of the major species involved in the process. Moreover, a design of experiment study could be implemented in order to manage the future experimental test, with the related money saving. Finally, an optimization of operating condition of the laboratory reactor using the detailed kinetics will be conducted in order to understand the best design of the industrial reactor of AG2S process.
