Finance MBA Interns will participate in a 10-week program focused on practical, hands on experience in a typical Finance role which may include analyzing acquisitions, divestitures, business strategies, product licensing proposals, and capital investments; forecasting, reporting, and analyzing operating results; operational risk management and process improvement consulting; managing capital structure, currency and other financial risks; or other roles in global support functions including procurement and global supplier management. In addition to practical experience, the intern program includes developmental opportunities and exposure to Senior Finance leadership including a closing project presentation.
Education Minimum Requirement:
- First year MBA student with a concentration in Finance
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 2 years of professional work experience
- Demonstrated academic excellence, analytical ability, leadership integrity and interpersonal skills
- Passion for Finance and Merck’s mission to save and improve lives
- Eligibility to work in the US on a permanent basis (US citizen or Permanent Resident) without sponsorship
