Finance Senior Specialist - MBA Rotation Program

Finance Senior Specialists will join a two-year Rotation Program for new MBA hires and rising key talent within Finance and the Global Services Organization. The program provides emerging talent with a breadth of experience and leadership qualities required to succeed as future Finance and Company leaders. The program includes practical experience in at least 2 position rotations primarily at our NJ and PA locations, with potential for international and other domestic locations where mutually desirable. Additionally, mentoring, senior management exposure, and other training and development experiences are incorporated throughout the program.
Roles within the Rotation Program may include analyzing acquisitions, divestitures, business strategies, product licensing proposals, and capital investments; forecasting, reporting, and analyzing operating results; operational risk management and process improvement consulting; managing capital structure, currency and other financial risks; or other roles in global support functions including procurement and global supplier management.
Upon completion of the two-year program, participants will be placed in Finance roles based on performance, mutual interest, and business need.
Education Minimum Requirement:
- MBA in Finance completed by June 2018
Required Experience and Skills:
- MBA in Finance completed by June 2018 with a minimum of 2 years of professional work experience
- Proven analytical ability, leadership, integrity, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for Finance, Global Support Functions and Merck’s mission to save and improve lives
- Eligibility to work in the US on a permanent basis (US citizen or Permanent Resident) without sponsorship.
