Merck Research Lab is currently recruiting for asummer intern within Global Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Safety. The GlobalRegulatory Affairs and Clinical Safety (GRACS) Business Development andLicensing-Pharmacovigilance Licensing group negotiates all pharmacovigilanceagreements and is responsible for the alliance management of all GlobalClinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance activities with company businesspartners. The team utilizes word document templates to prepare the draftpharmacovigilance agreements prior to sharing with key internal stakeholdersand the business partner for review and comments.  This position will support the team byworking on a project to enhance the format of these templates in order to increaseautomation and functionality.  The internwill also have the opportunity to gain an understanding in the patientsafety/pharmacovigilance end of working with our business partners whileworking in our newly launched tool that tracks these partnerships. 


  • Required: Candidates must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a science- or technology-related major.
  • Candidates must be returning to school in the Fall of 2018.
  • RequiredExperience:

  • Candidates must be available to work full-time for 9-12 weeks beginning in May or June of 2018
  • Candidates must have experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Candidates must have experience using shared collaboration sites.
  • Candidates must have experience using web design software.
  • PreferredExperience:

  • Previous project management skills
