Merck Research Lab is currently recruiting for a
summer intern within Global Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Safety. The Global
Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Safety (GRACS) Business Development and
Licensing-Pharmacovigilance Licensing group negotiates all pharmacovigilance
agreements and is responsible for the alliance management of all Global
Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance activities with company business
partners. The team utilizes word document templates to prepare the draft
pharmacovigilance agreements prior to sharing with key internal stakeholders
and the business partner for review and comments.  This position will support the team by
working on a project to enhance the format of these templates in order to increase
automation and functionality.  The intern
will also have the opportunity to gain an understanding in the patient
safety/pharmacovigilance end of working with our business partners while
working in our newly launched tool that tracks these partnerships. 



  • Required:
    Candidates must be currently pursuing a
    bachelor's degree in a science- or technology-related major.
  • Candidates
    must be returning to school in the Fall of 2018.

    must be available to work full-time for 9-12 weeks beginning in May or June
    of 2018
  • Candidates
    must have experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook,
    Word, Excel).
  • Candidates
    must have experience using shared collaboration sites.
  • Candidates
    must have experience using web design software.

  • Previous
    project management skills
