Merck Research Lab is currentlyrecruiting for a summer intern within Merck Investigator Studies Program. TheMerck Investigator Studies Program (MISP) and Consulting Group within GlobalOperations is a Merck Research Laboratories organization that drafts,negotiates, and executes agreements on a global basis. We are responsible for negotiatinginvestigator-initiated clinical trial agreements, confidentiality agreements,consulting agreements, material transfer agreements, and other agreementsrelated to clinical research. One internship position isavailable in 2018 in the MISP and Consulting group based at our Upper Gwynedd,PA site. During the internship appointment, the candidate will work closely withexperienced contract negotiators to learn about the following topics:
- Theclinical trial process and scientific engagement process
- Contractnegotiation in a pharmaceutical setting
- Compliance in a pharmaceuticalsetting on a global level
