Merck
Research Lab is currently recruiting for a summer intern within the Global
Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Safety (GRACS) Quality & Compliance group.
This GRACS department investigates and remedies quality and compliance issues.
The organization helps facilitate audits and inspections. In addition, the
group provides consultation to the larger GRACS community on quality and
compliance matters in an effort to reduce instances of non-conformance.  This position will support the team by
monitoring regulatory commitments, conducting investigations, and assisting with
Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA) management work.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Required:
    Candidates must be currently pursuing a BA/BS
    degree in a Life Sciences discipline, Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology,
    Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Physiology, or a related field.
  • Candidates
    must be returning to school in the Fall of 2018.


  • Required
    Experience:



  • Candidates
    must be available to work full-time for 9-12 weeks beginning in May or June
    of 2018
  • Candidates
    must have in proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook,
    Word, Excel), shared collaboration sites, and training management software


  • Preferred Experience:

  • Project
    management experience
