Merck Research Lab is currentlyrecruiting for a summer intern within Data Analytics & ScientificMethodology, the Center for Observational and Real-world Evidence (CORE). DA&SMsupports reimbursement through Real World Databases (RWD) studies, novelscientific methodology, and machine learning.
Responsibilities may include (butare not limited to):
- Collaborate with internalstakeholders to translate study concepts into analytic plans.
- Develop or oversee thedevelopment of study protocols and study analysis plans.
- Execute or oversee the executionof study analysis plans using real world databases.
- Lead, design, and executepredictive modeling studies using machine learning techniques.
At the conclusion of the term,the Intern will share results and recommended actions as a final projectpresentation.
This is a paid intern targeted tostart in May/June 2018 – August 2018.
Applicants should have aninterest in supporting human health and drug discovery, and have the ability tocompare and contrast results from various methodologies, and recommend the besttechniques.
