Merck’s Global Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Safety (GRACS) Business Process and Information Management Team has an opportunity for an intern who will assist in activities and deliverables focusing on project-based change management as it relates to executive alignment/commitment, sponsorship, and communications efforts associated with high-complexity projects being delivered under the GRACS Information Management Strategy Program.   The intern will also contribute to developing improvements to the existing project and change management framework and tool kits. 




Primary activities include but are not limited to the following:



  • Conduct impact analysis and identify key stakeholders

  • Assist in developing project communication strategies and plans

  • Support the design, development, delivery, and management of project communications

  • Support the enhancement of online communication tools


Qualifications


Education:

  • Required: Candidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, English, Communications, or a related field.

  • Candidates must be returning to school in the Fall of 2018.

  • Required Experience:



  • Candidates must be available to work full-time for 9-12 weeks beginning in June 2018

  • Candidates must have basic computer proficiency with Windows-based applications (Excel, Word, Power Point).

  • Candidates must be willing and able to travel for up to (5) percent of the time.

  • Preferred Experience:



  • An understanding of the basic principles of communications.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
