This position, Global Marketing Director, Companion Animal, Parasiticides In Line Products -- will be based in Madison, New Jersey, USA. This is a key role within our Global Companion Animal business. We seek a strong leader, who is passionate about driving the long-term direction of our brands and maximizing the brand and franchise potential for our Parasiticides in line products portfolio. Selected candidate must be comfortable in a changing environment and who will challenge the status-quo and look to deliver disruptive innovation.

The Global Marketing Director, Companion Animal, Parasiticides in Line Products is primarily responsible for: 

  • Drive innovative and visionary thinking in the MAH Companion Animal Parasiticides In Line Product portfolio. 

  • Ensure a differentiated customer focus direction for the Companion Animal Parasiticides in Line Product Portfolio for the next 10 years. 

  • Identify/anticipate customer needs and market opportunities for our In Line Companion Animal Parasiticides portfolio, building on current anti-parasitic market trends and consumer insights. 

  • Drive markets successful strategic positioning of our key In Line Parasiticides brands differentiated from competitors 

  • Develop, innovative Global Plans (known as mPlans) per key customer segments. 

  • Develop strategies to reach and engage with pet owners 

  • Successfully management across delegated portfolio assets including analysis of gross-margins optimization, supply improvements, rationalization, diversification and business development opportunities 

  • Identify disruptive innovative solutions for our key In Line brands worldwide 

  • Boost digital and multi-channel marketing 

  • Ensure successful deployment of Global Marketing Plans across markets and monitor it over time. 

  • Support markets to customize In Line Product plans to specific market needs 

  • Guide R&D to determine which R&D projects should be developed and prioritized and make sure they are aligned with our customer needs 

  • Assist the Global Companion Lead in defining a successful Life Cycle Management road map for our key Companion Animal in Line Brands, in coordination with the Global Technical Services Directors related to the delegated Companion Animal portfolio. This might include identification of Business Development needs and opportunities (partners, products).

Education Minimum Requirement: 

  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree/MBA preferred

Required Experience and Skills: 

  • Minimum of ten years related experience in marketing and/or sales with at least 5 years in Marketing 

  • Strong background in Brand and Franchise management 

  • Visionary, innovative, strategic mindset 

  • Demonstrated successful experience in the consumer marketplace (i.e. OTC and/or retail) 

  • Strong financial and business acumen 

  • Solid customer management experience 

  • Expertise in digital marketing 

  • Strong Project Management capabilities 

  • International market experience 

  • High energy, positive thinker, collaborator 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Exemplary leadership skills 

  • Exhibits strong emotional intelligence, integrity and trustworthiness 

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency including MS Project, Office

Preferred Experience and Skills: 

  • Advanced degree preferred 

  • Knowledge of the companion animal market is desirable 

  • Experience in a Global or regional role. 

  • Experience in innovative project management and/or new markets development 

  • Other languages (Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Chinese) are beneficial
