We are inviting applications for a project researcher position in energy infrastructure public private partnership development
You will be working on various ideas for designing and implementing public private partnership (PPP) models with tangible socio-economic, environmental and policy outcomes. We will be building system dynamics simulation tools which requires strong programming skills using Python / Matlab / other computational tools to study PPP models. Good understanding of policy, regulations and risk management are of great assets, but not mandatory. We are looking for a quick learner and doer who has a passion for excellence in research and development. You have master degree in social sciences, economics, environmental engineering, public administration or business. Candidates with other related or relevant educational background are welcome to apply. You have experience in one or many of the following topics: public private partnerships, system dynamics, socio-economic modelling, policy analysis, regulations, risk management, and simulation. You have hands-on experience through earlier projects and have the ability to build things and work in a research laboratory. You will be continuously supporting the development of various project proposals attracting new funding opportunities. The support in supervision of theses is also included in your tasks. Strong written & spoken English language skills are mandatory.
The salary will be based on both the job demands and the employee's personal performance in accordance with the University Salary System. According to the criteria applied to teaching and research staff this position is placed on the job demands levels 2-4. The position is planned for a fixed term of 2 years.
Trial period of four months applies.
The candidate is expected to start in November 2017, or at earliest possible date mutually agreed between both parties.
