The candidate will work on the realization of an experimental apparatus that allows for the implementation of squeezed entangled states of strontium atoms for atom interferometry. In particular, the project will feature the realization of a vacuum apparatus with an integrated optical cavity, which has the ability to amplify the performance of the method.

The realization of the cold atomic source and its manipulation in order to attain squeezing useful for precision measurements will also require the implementation of various laser sources.
