The Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in forest ecology. Specializations might include forest community, disturbance, ecosystem, or landscape ecology. Faculty positions carry a commitment to teaching, research, outreach, and service. Duties include developing a creative and vibrant research program in forest ecology; teaching at least one course in our accredited Forest Science major and a second course that advances the broader teaching mission; undergraduate advising; and graduate and trainee mentoring. Lastly, we seek candidates who embrace diversity in the broadest sense.
