The research is focused on theoretical aspects relevant for the phenomenology of the electroweak interactions between elementary particles at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC), Geneva. The activity will require the development, validation and simulation of theoretical software (Monte Carlo event generators) for the precision measurements of the W-boson mass and other fundamental parameters of the Standard Model, which are currently performed and foreseen in the near future at the LHC.
