IIT (www.iit.it) is opening a postdoctoral position in the framework of


the Future & Emerging Technologies flagship project on graphene and


other 2d crystals, Graphene Flagship (http://graphene-flagship.eu/) funded by the European Commission with Grant Agreement n. 696656 for the 2013-2023 period.


A


postdoc position is currently available to work in the context of


Energy Storage of the Graphene Flagship (graphene-flagship.eu) funded by


the European Union under the umbrella of IIT Graphene Labs (http://graphene.iit.it) in strong collaboration with partners of the Graphene Flagship.


The


candidate will work on the chemical synthesis of graphene-based


three-dimensional structures, and their testing for optimal performance


of gas storage in devices with potential commercial applications.


Eligible


applicants must hold a PhD degree in Chemistry, Physics, Material


Science or equivalent. The candidate needs to have at least 2 years of


postdoctoral experience. Previous experience with two-dimensional


materials is preferential.
