A postdoctoral position on single crystal electron diffraction of inorganic and hybrid materials is available in the Functional Nanomaterials Lab (https://funl.kaust.edu.sa/) at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), situated on the Red Sea coast near Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. KAUST provides an outstanding research environment with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. KAUST’s Imaging and Characterization Core Lab (https://corelabs.kaust.edu.sa/imaging) is one of the world’s leading centers for electron microscopy. Successful candidates are expected to have:
- Ph.D in a field related to crystallography.
- Interest and expertise in single crystal electron diffraction and full structure elucidation.
- Experience with crystallization techniques and structure refinement
- Motivation, independence and team mentality.
