2 Early Stage Researcher (ESR) positions are now available in the Yeast Biotechnology Doctoral Training Programme YEASTDOC. YEASTDOC is a European Joint Doctoral Programme that brings together 6 academic and 9 non-academic partners. The scientific aim of the project is to maximize the potential of Saccharomyces and non-Saccharomyces yeasts in the beverage and white biotechnology sectors. Each ESR recruited to the project will complete a joint PhD, registering and undertaking research at 2 academic institutes. The student will also spend 4-6 months at an industry partner organisation gaining meaningful intersectoral experience. In addition to the PhD research project, comprehensive training in other skills, including commercialisation is offered to all ESRs in the programme. Further details about YEASTDOC, a description of each PhD research project that is on offer, and application details can be found on the YEASTDOC website www.yeastdoc.eu
