Policies to increase consumers' engagement in the electricity and gas markets
The researcher will investigate consumers' behavior in the energy markets; the research's focus will be on the consumers' switching in the aim to highlight the main issues which contribute to consumers' inertia in electricity and gas markets. From the results of these studies, the research aims to provide useful elements for the design of policies contrasting such inertia. The potential effects of these policies will be also tested using an experiment to address behavioral elements affecting the switching.
