Advanced Models for analysis of sustainable innovative technologies and systems.
The main objective of the research is to develop advanced models for the evaluation of the cost-benefit trade-offs of innovative technologies and systems (e.g. sensors, electrical energy storage, valorisation of energy wastes) in their life cycle with the aim of increasing and monitoring their sustainability. Further evaluations will be performed in terms of consumer resilience to reduce their vulnerability.
Priority will be given to bibliographic analysis on existing models in the literature on economic evaluations and on the characterization of the effects resulting from the use of such technologies.
The next step will be the development of advanced analytical/simulation models for lifecycle cost-benefit assessment..
As part of the activities assigned to the researcher, the development of international publications and participation in International Conferences to present contributions will be included under this research project..
