Leukemia represents 33% of childhood tumors that is expressed with a healing percentage> 80%. However, conventional chemotherapeutic agents have medium and long-term side effects that affect the quality of life of patients. Leukemic cells produce a greater amount of Oxygen Reactive Species (ROS) than non-leukemic cells as if they were in a repeat oxidative block state. Some natural substances are considered promising instruments for the prevention and treatment of cancer; it is known that such substances such as Curcuma Longa, Opunzia ficus and Ginger can act as “scavengers " of free radicals that are produced following treatment with chemotherapeutic agents.
