Targeting epigenome in human pathologies such as Diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and cancer
The research program aims to identify and characterize new epigenetic modulators that can re-balance epigenome alterations in human diseases such as diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases and tumors. The program therefore involves the identification and characterization of new modulators with HTS techniques, the identification of new epigenomic alterations even with techniques able to analyzing the single cell. During the research program, the researcher will need to be available to go abroad in case of research needs for a period of 6 months or longer.
