Owl colour vision
Owls are well adapted to a actilely hunting prey at light. Their eyes and visual system are adapted to night vision with high sensitivity, but very little is known about their colour vision abilities. The postdoctoral fellow will stydy colour vision in owls using histological methods but mostly using behavioural experiments.
