Senior Research Engineer, UCD Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Temporary, 22 months)
Applications are invited for a temporary post as Senior Research Engineer.
The successful candidate will work on the development of high-frequency wireless communication and radar systems in advanced nanoscale bulk CMOS processes. The envisioned systems will take advantage of small antenna dimensions and beamforming capabilities enabled in millimeter-wave frequency range, as well as high performance CMOS front-end circuits complemented with digitally intensive architectures. The candidate should have a working experience in antenna array design/analysis, electromagnetic simulation software as well as RF circuit design to fulfill the aims of this post. Previous experience in RF/millimeter-wave measurements is desirable. It is also expected for the candidate to supervise PhD, MS and BE students in the Analog and Mixed-Signal Research Group within the duration of this position.
Salary: €45,000 per annum (single salary point)
