The research activity involves studies for using different materials to optimize the functionality of the "Anti-Particulate Filter" component on high performance gasoline engines. The study provides an numerical and experimental approach. Numerical simulation activities will mainly be carried out using computational tools provided by the Lamborghini Automotive Technical Department for the analysis of the temperature distributions of the component in operation scenarios as well as for the prediction of the tension states. Following that, fatigue conditions will be simulated in accordance with the experimental tests that will be carried out on the components.
