The Department of Biology at Hendrix College invites applications for a tenure track position for an Assistant Professor of Physiology to begin in August 2018. The College seeks to extend its tradition of excellence in teaching and scholarship by attracting faculty who combine mastery of their disciplines with broad intellectual interests and commitment to the aims of a liberal arts college.  The successful applicant will teach physiology courses for both Biology and Health Science majors. A doctorate is expected by the start date; however, applicants who are ABD at the time of application will be considered.

Applications should include a cover letter addressing the candidate’s interest in teaching in a demanding liberal arts environment; a curriculum vitae; statement of teaching interests; evidence of teaching effectiveness; graduate and undergraduate transcripts; and a statement of scholarly interests.
